Job summary

Loom Talent in the Netherlands is recruiting an IT Automation Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot the software behind automated warehouse systems, including AutoStore and Kardex WCS, while collaborating with WMS platforms such as Manhattan and Blue Yonder to optimize operations.

You will provide 1st and 2nd line support across three sites (Almelo, Roosendaal and Bergen op Zoom), travel between sites, analyze logs for root causes, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job role: IT Automation Support - Warehouse Automation

Location: Netherlands - Almelo, Roosendaal or Bergen op Zoom (travel between sites will be required)

Salary: €2,700 - €3,860 gross per month + benefits

12-month contract, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position following a successful evaluation

As an IT Automation Support Engineer, you'll support the software behind automated warehouse systems, including AutoStore and Kardex WCS, working alongside WMS platforms such as Manhattan and Blue Yonder.

The successful candidate will provide application support for warehouse automation platforms across multiple sites and work closely with internal IT teams, warehouse operations and external technology partners

The role of IT Automation Support

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for warehouse automation software
• Troubleshoot system, integration and communication issues

• Support AutoStore and Kardex WCS
• Work with WMS and IT teams to resolve issues

Requirements

• Experience in IT/application support or a technical support environment
• Ideally experience within logistics, warehousing or industrial automation
• Experience with WMS, warehouse systems or logistics technology
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• An understanding of software, integrations and system communications
• Warehouse experience is highly desirable; 3PL experience is not essential
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and operational teams
• Fluent English; Dutch is advantageous
• A driving licence and willingness to travel between the three Dutch sites
