Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a motivated IT Asset Management Intern to help manage IT equipment and services within the EU region. You will assist with lifecycle activities for laptops, mobiles, tablets, and accessories, ensuring assets are tracked, compliant, and up-to-date.

You’ll collaborate with IT support, HR, Logistics, Procurement and international IT teams (including the US). The role is based in Amsterdam and offers hands-on experience in IT operations and asset management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an IT-related degree (MBO/HBO/WO).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily IT asset management for end users in the EU region.
• Maintain accurate registrations of laptops, mobile devices, tablets, and accessories.
• Assist onboarding and offboarding by preparing, receiving, and returning IT equipment.
• Assist with ordering, imaging, packaging and shipping of laptops.
• Help manage and track mobile devices and subscriptions.
• Send reminders and follow up with employees regarding returns or missing information.
• Document asset management processes and contribute to compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and countries.
• Participate in alignment meetings with the IT team in the US.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een IT Asset Management Stagiair(e) die ons IT-team komt versterken en helpt bij het beheer van IT-apparatuur en -diensten binnen de EU-regio. Asset Management speelt een belangrijke rol in het waarborgen dat medewerkers beschikken over de juiste apparatuur en licenties om hun werk goed uit te voeren, terwijl alles zorgvuldig wordt bijgehouden, compliant blijft en up-to-date is.

Tijdens deze stage ondersteun je de volledige lifecycle van IT-assets, zoals laptops, telefoons, tablets, randapparatuur en mobiele/SIM-abonnementen. Je leert hoe deze assets worden besteld, toegewezen, bijgewerkt, ingenomen en gecontroleerd, met name tijdens in- en uitstroom van medewerkers of functiewijzigingen.

Je werkt samen met verschillende teams, waaronder IT Support, HR, Logistiek, Procurement en internationale IT-collega’s (waaronder het IT-team in de VS). Dit is een uitstekende kans voor een student die georganiseerd, nieuwsgierig en geïnteresseerd is in IT-operaties, hardware en procesmatig werken, en die praktijkervaring wil opdoen in een internationale werkomgeving.

Wat ga je doen

• Ondersteunen van het dagelijkse beheer van IT-assets voor eindgebruikers binnen de EU-regio
• Bijhouden van nauwkeurige en actuele registraties van laptops, mobiele apparaten, tablets, randapparatuur en voorraad
• Ondersteunen van onboarding en offboarding door IT-apparatuur voor te bereiden, in te nemen en retour te verwerken
• Assisteren bij het bestellen, (re)imaging, verpakken en verzenden van laptops
• Helpen bij het beheren en traceren van mobiele apparaten en abonnementen
• Herinneringen sturen en opvolgen richting medewerkers met betrekking tot retouren, updates of ontbrekende informatie
• Documenteren van processen rondom asset management en bijdragen aan consistente naleving
• Nauw samenwerken met stakeholders binnen verschillende afdelingen en landen
• Deelnemen aan alignment meetings met het IT-team in de VS

Stageproject

Tijdens je stage neem je eigenaarschap over een specifiek Asset Management-project, bijvoorbeeld:

• Het opschonen en valideren van de bestaande EU asset-inventaris
• Het verbeteren van de manier waarop IT-assets worden bijgehouden en gedocumenteerd
• Het opstellen van een gestructureerd overzicht/rapport van de asset lifecycle
• Het analyseren van mobiele abonnementen en het identificeren van optimalisatiemogelijkheden

Tools & werkwijze

• Dagelijks gebruik van Microsoft-tools: Outlook, Excel, Teams en SharePoint
• Kennismaking met een IT asset management- en/of ticketsysteem (training wordt provided)
• Werkzaamheden op locatie in het kantoor in Amsterdam

Wat breng jij mee

• Je volgt momenteel een MBO- of HBO- of WO-opleiding in IT, Information Management, Business IT & Management, Computer Science of een vergelijkbare studie
• Goede schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatievaardigheden in het Engels
• Je voelt je comfortabel in de omgang met medewerkers en stakeholders
• Je bent georganiseerd, nauwkeurig en betrouwbaar
• Je bent proactief en neemt eigenaarschap over je werkzaamheden
• Je begrijpt processen snel en kunt deze zorgvuldig volgen
• Interesse in IT-operaties, asset management, voorraadbeheer of logistiek
• In staat om na een inwerkperiode zelfstandig te werken

Pré

• Ervaring met een ticketing- of asset managementsysteem (bijv. ServiceNow of vergelijkbaar)
• Basiskennis van hardware lifecycle (imaging, verzending, voorraadbeheer)
• Sterke Excel-vaardigheden (filters, draaitabellen, data opschonen)
• Interesse in procesverbetering en documentatie
