Job summary

Robin is seeking an Information Security Officer to become the central point of contact for all information security matters. You will maintain the Information Security Management System and coordinate key improvement projects, driving ISO certification efforts and policy updates.

Reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will lead compliance and risk activities and collaborate with a diverse global team in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• BA/MSc or HBO in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in Information Security, Risk Management, and/or Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, GDPR, and IT management with ISO 27001 audit focus.
• Background or affinity with high-tech and engineering sectors.
• Solid grasp of security concepts and tools (firewalls, IDS, antivirus) for collaboration.
• Professional fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Agile, proactive work ethic with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certificate of Conduct (VOG) may be requested per screening policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage, document, and update information security policies and procedures compliant with ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2.
• Lead the theoretical and compliance preparation for internal and external audits toward ISO certifications.
• Perform regular risk assessments and coordinate security improvement projects.
• Assess information security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Organize awareness programs to educate employees on security protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Act as trusted security advisor for all employees.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders including lawyers, consultants, suppliers, authorities, and ISO bodies.
