Job summary

Booking.com is seeking an iOS Engineer to advance the end-to-end accommodation journey across web and mobile, focusing on high-scale, customer-facing experiences. You will work on the stack behind the early stages of search results, maps, and booking flows, building a modern, decoupled frontend/backend architecture using GraphQL-backed domain APIs.

You will join a team rebuilding the stack and shaping technical decisions influencing hundreds of millions of travellers, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 1-3 years iOS application development using iOS SDK
• Proven experience of Swift and SwiftUI
• Good understanding of Xcode and integrating back-end code into iOS app
• Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team-player

Responsibilities

• Work on the execution of technical and user interface elements in the Booking.com stack, products and processes.
• Estimates and prioritises based on the implementation effort and customer impact.
• Collaborates with other app developers, backend developers, product owners, and quality specialists, to constantly improve customer experience.
• Ensures the utmost high quality of the Booking.com app in production, by monitoring crashes, firefighting incidents and solving complex bugs.
• Contributes to the processes that support the release of new features for the entire company, such as the release process, the build process, etc.
