Job summary

KION Business Services Polska is seeking a Solution Designer to support the growth of intralogistics automation across EMEA. You will analyze customer needs, design innovative solutions, and work with sales and engineering teams to ensure feasible, cost-efficient delivery.

The role requires hands-on CAD/3D layout skills, experience in AS/RS, AGVs/AMRs, conveyors, and strong communication to present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), Logistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in solution design, system integration, or technical consulting within the automation or intralogistics industry.
• Fluency in English and Dutch; willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs thoroughly and create intralogistics automation solutions tailored to requirements, considering throughput, space, budget, and integration needs.
• Consult with customers and internal teams to design optimal intralogistics solutions, ensuring feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and develop compelling solution concepts and presentations.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, including solution layouts, equipment specs, and system architectures.
