Job summary

Tivoli Doelen Amsterdamhotel is offering a student kitchen internship to learn all facets of a professional kitchen in a historic five-star setting on the Amstel. You will train in recipes, mise en place, plating and service under supervision.

You are a enrolled student with a passion for food, team spirit, and flexibility in hours. This role includes hands-on training, guest-facing experience, and growth opportunities across Minor Hotels worldwide.

Tivoli Doelen Amsterdamhotel is one of Amsterdam's oldest and finest five‑star hotels. We have a lot of personal contact with our guests and because of our small size we help each other in all departments to achieve that 'extraordinary' guest experience.

Compensation and Benefits

A compensation of €750 gross per month for all your hard work. Free online & offline training organized by our own Minor Hotels University Northern Europe. Employee rates starting from €36 in all our hotels worldwide, 30% discount in the F&B outlets, and Friends & Family discount up to 25%. Various discounts in (web)shops. In this position you will learn everything that is needed for a great career in the kitchen. You prepare dishes according to recipe, you prepare orders to be passed on by carrying out à la minute cooking activities, portioning and garnishing according to established instructions with regard to ingredients, recipe, working methods and external presentation.
