Job summary

flatexDEGIRO SE and its European operations seek a motivated intern to support the internal audit team in planning, preparation, and performance of audits across organizational units.

You will assist with evaluating controls, compliance with legal requirements, and presenting results to Heads of Units. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and analytical thinking, with a 30‑day leave policy and transport allowance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing HBO or academic degree in business administration or a related field.
• Good knowledge of IT systems, e.g., Microsoft Office.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• High integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and reliability.
• Strong communication skills and written expression.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work carefully.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal audit team in planning, preparation, and performance of audits in all organizational units within the Bank and Group in accordance with professional and operational standards.
• Support the internal audit team in conducting audit assessments regarding the design, implementation and operating effectiveness of controls within an organizational unit.
• Support internal audit team members in evaluating compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements of organizational units.
• Support the internal audit team in the discussion and presentation of audit results with the Heads of the Organizational Units.
