Job summary

flatexDEGIRO AG in Amsterdam is seeking a Risk Analyst to monitor and manage risks in retail accounts. You will perform real-time market surveillance, monitor margins, and work with teams to improve risk processes and reporting.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 2+ years of experience, and strong English skills, with proficiency in VBA, SQL and Excel. The position offers a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics or similar field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of financial markets.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to work with VBA and SQL.
• Familiar with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing risks within retail accounts at FlatexDEGIRO
• Real time monitoring of financial markets, trading, limits, and promptly react to changes or irregularities
• Manage margin and credit risk, identify and mitigate operational risk, monitor trading and compliance with rules
• Monitor cash flow, as well as assist securities borrowing and lending
• Collaborate with other departments on optimizing risk processes and systems
• Assist in the development and improvement of risk measures, reports and policies
• Assist development and documentation of margin models
