Hunkemöller is seeking an Internship HR - Compensation & Benefits in the Netherlands. You will support analyses, reporting, benchmarking and policy development while collaborating with Legal, Finance, Store Operations and regional HR teams.
You are a 3rd or 4th year HBO/WO student in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field, available for 4 days per week. You have strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, English proficiency, and can work independently yet in a cross-functional,
Supporting compensation and benefits analyses, reporting, and benchmarking activities.
Working with HR analytics and people data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities—connecting the dots between data, business needs, and outcomes.
Contributing to the development and improvement of Compensation and Benefits policies, guidelines, and processes.
Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Store Operations, and Regional HR teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
Preparing clear, professional, and on-brand presentations and materials for internal stakeholders.
Supporting the Compensation and Benefits Manager with projects related to annual performance review cycle, day-to-day activities, project coordination, and ad-hoc problem solving in a fast-paced, international environment.
3rd or 4th year student of a HBO/WO study in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Available for a minimum of 4 days per week (thesis possible).
You have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; you enjoy working with data and turning insights into action.
A proactive, curious, and creative thinker who is able to connect the dots and challenge the status quo.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Able to work independently, while also thriving in cross-functional and international collaboration.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis tools or visualization tools is a plus.
Eligibility Criteria For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in September2026. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship.
Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply: You are an EU citizen, You are on a Family/Partner visa, or You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
