Job summary

Interfood offers an exciting internship starting September 2026 in Eindhoven, within our global finance team. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals across the world, supporting monthly reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and assisting with consolidated figures.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English (advanced level).
  • Effective time management, setting priorities and being able to work with deadlines.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and an affinity for numbers. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. This also includes consolidating the figures of our world-wide network.
  • Ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions in line with our internal controls and procedures.
  • Providing financial information in the form of monthly reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
  • Assisting in the analysis of financial data, helping to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contributing to the development and preparation of financial processes, tools, and reports.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Group Control team, you’ll support a range of financial control activities that contribute to timely, accurate, and insightful reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. This also includes consolidating the figures of our world-wide network.
  • Ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions in line with our internal controls and procedures.
  • Providing financial information in the form of monthly reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
  • Assisting in the analysis of financial data, helping to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contributing to the development and preparation of financial processes, tools, and reports.

Throughout your internship, you’ll be part of a collaborative and internationally oriented finance environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable exposure to how financial operations are managed across a global organization.
