Job summary

HEINEKEN Business Services (HBS) in Amsterdam offers an internship where you support the Finance team with reporting, analysis and improvement activities tied to our roadmap. You will help strengthen standard processes, enhance data and reporting structures, and provide financial insights to enable better decisions.

You’ll work in a global, collaborative environment with exposure to cross-functional teams and finance transformation.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data, or related fields).
  • Interest in Finance, business transformation, or global operating environments.
  • A proactive mindset and comfort working with data and structure.

The internship

Heineken Business Services (HBS) is in an exciting phase as we continue building a scalable, global operating model. In this internship, you’ll support the Finance team in areas such as reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement activities connected to our roadmap. Your work will help strengthen standard ways of working, improve data and reporting structures, and support the coordination and financial insights needed to enable better, faster and cheaper Business operations across the globe.


You will support activities such as:



  • Preparing and enhancing recurring management reports and dashboards

  • Assisting in financial analysis linked to value tracking and performance monitoring

  • Contributing to business case follow-up and refinement of financial tracking models


(Tasks may evolve depending on project phase, priorities, and market rollout timing.)

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data, or related fields)

  • Interest in Finance, business transformation, or global operating environments

  • Experience with Excel or Power BI

  • Interest in process improvement, shared services, or financial analysis

Conditions of HEINEKEN


  • You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.

  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.

  • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.

  • You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.

  • You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).


Our Internship Conditions

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:



  • A full-time internship, starting on February 1, 2026

  • The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)

  • Your home office will be located in Amsterdam.

  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home

  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek

  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)

  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
