Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Utrecht invites you to join our internship in Duty Management. You will rotate through departments, then independently fulfil the role of Manager on Duty within the Management Team, becoming the first contact for guests.

You will develop hotel management knowledge quickly and be prepared for a Young Professional career in hospitality while gaining hands-on experience and a path for growth within our worldwide brand.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing studies in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field.
• Willing to learn across departments and support the management team.
• Strong guest-service orientation with proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Shadow each department during training.
• Assume the Manager on Duty role after training.
• Assist guests with questions, comments and complaints.

Your Role at a Glance

During this internship you will become familiar with all facets of the hotel industry. First, you will work at all the departments to be trained. After that, you independently fulfil the role of Manager on Duty. You are part of the Management Team, and you are the first contact for guests. You assist guests with questions, comments and complaints and, if necessary, you assist at other departments whenever it is needed most. You know the hotel, your colleagues and the guests like no other. As a result, your knowledge and skills in the field of Hotel Management are developed quickly and you will be fully prepared for your career as a Young Professional in the hospitality industry.
