Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam is offering an Internship Duty Management position at NH City Centre Amsterdam. The role includes training across departments, and progression to Manager on Duty as part of the hotel’s Management Team.

You will be the first contact for guests, handling questions, comments, and complaints while supporting other departments as needed. You are expected to be enthusiastic, flexible, service-minded, and capable of working independently or in a team.

• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Your Role at a Glance

During this internship you will become familiar with all facets of the hotel industry. First, you will work at all the departments to be trained. After that, you independently fulfil the role of Manager on Duty. You are part of the Management Team, and you are the first contact for guests. You assist guests with questions, comments and complaints and, if necessary, you assist at other departments whenever it is needed most. You know the hotel, your colleagues and the guests like no other. As a result, your knowledge and skills in the field of Hotel Management are developed quickly and you will be fully prepared for your career as a Young Professional in the hospitality industry.
