Job summary

EWT Systems in Amersfoort is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead wind turbine projects across Europe, from planning through installation to commissioning and handover.

You will manage delivery, align budgets and schedules with quality standards, act as main customer contact, and prepare execution and HSE documentation. You’ll collaborate with multiple business units and assist Sales and Legal with project insights in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years international project management experience in wind/energy.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Experience with multi-project environments.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations related to construction.
• Willingness to travel ~15% within Europe.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

As we continue to expand internationally, we’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Operations team in Amersfoort. In this role, you’ll take the lead on delivering wind turbine projects across Europe, from planning and installation to commissioning and customer handover.

What you’ll do

• Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards;

• Contribute to continuous improvements in project management processes and tools;

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering;
• 2-3 years of international project management experience, preferably in the wind or energy sector;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage both clients and teams;
• Experience working on multiple projects in a dynamic, international environment;
• Knowledge of HSE legislation, related to construction activities;
• Affinity with multidisciplinary technical projects;
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with both technical and commercial awareness;
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus;
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of your time within Europe.

EWT Systems, founded in 2025, is a Dutch headquartered manufacturer and supplier of sub megawatt wind turbines, building further on 20-year track record of the DirectWind family of wind turbines, of which more than 700 are deployed worldwide.

Our wind turbines are predominantly used to provide localised on- and off-grid solutions for customers, spanning industry, agriculture, water utilities, investment funds, communities and landowners.

In Amersfoort we assemble rotor hubs, nacelles, power converters and control systems.

In our factory in Enschede we produce the rotor blades for our turbines. This is the only production location for rotor blades in the Netherlands. The blades are made of glass fiber reinforced epoxy, a composite material.
