Job summary

Vecos is seeking a proactive international planner to balance customer expectations, technical requirements, and logistics across installation and service activities.

You will partner with Project Delivery, Customer Success, and Logistics to optimize technician deployment and deliver timely updates to customers and partners, while maintaining accurate planning data and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HBO/Bachelor level or equivalent in technical/logistical field.
• 3-5 years in planning or coordinating technical installations or service operations.
• Experience in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong affinity with technology/ICT.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan installation and service assignments considering availability, logistics and customer needs.
• Serve as primary planning contact for customers and partners, updating and managing expectations.
• Monitor timelines, delivery schedules and milestones; intervene when needed.
• Ensure technicians and service engineers are prepared for each site visit.
• Coordinate hardware deliveries and interactions with external partners.
• Deliver planning reports for external partners and Vecos colleagues.

We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented planner who takes ownership of scheduling installation and service activities. In addition to planning and coordinating with partners, you will have the responsibility and freedom to organize partner-related activities, making you an integral part of our partner network.

You work closely with colleagues in Project Delivery, Customer Success, and Logistics, ensuring that technicians are optimally deployed and that customers receive timely and accurate communication. What will you be doing?

• Plan installation and service assignments efficiently, considering availability, logistics, priorities, and customer needs.
• Serve as the primary planning contact for customers & partners, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Monitor installation timelines, delivery schedules, and milestones, and intervene when necessary.
• Manage and organize planning-related reporting for both external partners and Vecos colleagues.
• Ensure technicians and service engineers are fully prepared for each site visit.
• Operational management of the Field Service App for installation partners.
• Coordinate hardware deliveries and interactions with external partners.
• Maintain close collaboration with Project Delivery, Customer Success, and Logistics.
• Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date administrative data in planning and reporting systems.
• Support a smooth go-live and ensure a structured handover to Customer Success.
• Deliver reporting and insights in our planning process for continuous improvement.
• Be the functional owner of our project planning and service tooling (FieldBuddy).
• Take ownership of solving operational challenges in a proactive and creative way.

What do you bring?

• HBO/Bachelor level, ideally with a technical or logistical background.
• 3-5 years of experience in planning or coordinating technical installations or service operations.
• Experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong affinity with technology and/or ICT.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in international environments is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and stress‑management skills.
• Customer focus: ensuring clear communication and reliable appointment coordination.
• Planning excellence: ability to plan efficiently, anticipate bottlenecks, and optimize resource allocation.
• Technical understanding: sufficient knowledge of planning tools, installation workflows, and ICT and data concepts.
