Job summary

NewBees in Amsterdam is seeking a P&I intern to help improve participation and integration of newcomers within our inclusive team.

You will assist in maintaining and expanding our programs—such as the film education, neighbourhood safari, and workshops—while supporting internal training courses and project planning. Your work will include designing documents and presentations to share progress with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Motivated to work with and for newcomers.
• Basic Dutch language skills (B1).
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and further developing the building blocks (such as the film education program, neighbourhood safari and workshops).
• Assist in developing internal training courses within the NewBees Academy;
• Supporting projects (planning, reporting, implementation).
• Designing documents and presentations.

What are you going to do?

As a P&I intern, you'll work on continuously improving and organizing participation and integration. Responsibilities include:

• Assist in maintaining and further developing the building blocks (such as the film education program, neighbourhood safari and workshops);
• Assist in developing internal training courses within the NewBees Academy;
• Supporting projects (planning, reporting, implementation);
• Designing documents and presentations.

Who are we looking for?

• Motivated to work with and for newcomers;
• Good communication skills in Dutch (B1);
• Can handle Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
• An advantage if you have a newcomer background yourself, or if you speak Arabic and/or Tigrinya;
• Available at least 2 days a week for at least 5 months;
• Lives within commuting distance of our head office in Amsterdam.
