ING Nederland invites you to join the CTO Technology Human Resources internship to support the HR Director CTO and HR Business Manager CTO in delivering people priorities and projects. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to global HR initiatives and digital People agenda within a leading bank.
You will work in a hybrid setup, be enrolled at a Dutch university, and receive an internship allowance of 700 EUR for a 36-hour week, plus a laptop and a collaborative environment with experienced colleagues.
Our CTO (Technology) Human Resources team enables our CTO domain to deliver on its people and business strategy. To do so, our CTO HR team has HR priorities in line with the HR People Vision – to empower our people to perform to their full potential for future and present challenges in ING and beyond.
Within the Global Human Resources organisation, the role of intern supports the HR Business Manager (HR BM), the Global HR Business Partners for CTO (HRBPs) and the HR Director (HRD CTO) to deliver on the CTO priorities. Your goal is to make the entire team more successful in delivery of people priorities and projects.
You will be responsible for activities related to supporting the HRD CTO, the HR BM CTO, and the Global HR CTO team. You are the supporting force for the team, in the execution of the global HR-related projects and the People agenda for the business.
This is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field. You’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank, but also about yourself and whether this type of environment is right for you.
During the duration of your internship at ING, it is mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU‑university for EU passport holders).
Every year, more than 350 students join our internship program. While there are no guarantees about your future, many of our former interns move into a permanent role or onto our International Talent Programme (traineeship). Whatever happens, an internship at ING is the ideal opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, to build up your own network, and to learn about many different aspects of banking – put simply, it’s a great start to your career.
