Job summary

Dopper is seeking a Business Development & Sales Intern in the Netherlands. You will join the full Sales team with a focus on the Dutch retail and B2B market, supporting key projects and bringing fresh ideas to drive growth while advancing Dopper’s mission to end packaged water.

Your role includes field visits, building lead lists, assisting customer support, and contributing to efficient sales processes. This is a hands-on, mission-driven internship in a dynamic scale-up environment.

Qualifications

• You are currently studying Business Administration, International Business, Hotel Management or another sales-focused field.
• You live in the Netherlands during the internship.
• You have a driver's license.
• You are available for at least 5 months, 32 or 40 hours per week from Feb 1, 2027.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You have a business mindset and spot opportunities while keeping the team moving fast.
• You are proactive, communicative and confident speaking with colleagues and customers in a fast-moving scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and routes to market to grow Dopper’s reach.
• Contribute to the Dutch retail network through store visits, presenting innovations and retail solutions, field research, and retailer engagement.
• Build lead lists and handle initial outreach to potential partners to acquire new accounts.
• Assist with sales questions from Customer Support and help set up forms so orders run smoothly.
• Share ideas to improve sales processes and keep focus on the mission.

At Dopper, we’re on a mission to end packaged water. As our Business Development & Sales Intern, you will be part of the full Sales team, with a special focus on the Dutch retail and B2B market. You’ll support key projects, bring fresh ideas to the table, and help us work smarter to maximise our impact. Most importantly, you’ll play a direct role in spreading the Dopper mission every single day.

Of course, you won’t be doing this alone. Jard, your internship supervisor, will be right there with you!

Requirements

• You are currently studying Business Administration, International Business, Hotel Management or another study with a strong focus on sales, commercial processes, or a related field and are looking for an dynamic internship.

• You are living in the Netherlands at the time of the internship.

• You have a driver’s license.

• You are available for a minimum of 5 months, for 32 or 40 hours per week as from February 1, 2027.

• For this specific internship, it is necessary you are fluent in Dutch and English.

• You have a business mindset and you love spotting opportunities while keeping the team moving fast and focused.

• You are proactive, communicative, and confident speaking with both colleagues and customers in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment.
