Job summary

Dopper seeks an energetic Brand & Communications intern to shape copy for social channels, campaigns and newsletters from our Haarlem office. You’ll write, edit, and think strategically, helping us tell authentic stories that resonate with today’s audiences.

You’ll work on content calendars, ideation, and coordination across channels, learning from a motivated team while enjoying perks like a lunch, travel allowance, and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a European school pursuing an HBO or university course in marketing, communications, or humanities.
• Available for a minimum of 5 months, 32–40 hours/week from February 1, 2027.
• Enjoy writing, thinking, and being creative.
• Excellent written English; Dutch and/or German is a bonus.
• Take initiative and communicate a POV on culture.

Responsibilities

Drop into the role

As an intern, you’ll join the Brand & Communications team and help shape the copy, ideas, and thinking behind our social channels, campaigns, and newsletters.

You’ll work on everything from social posts to strategy decks, making sure our message lands where it matters and reflects how people communicate today.

Beyond KPIs, this role is about contributing to a company with a clear mission: making reusable products the norm.

Of course, you won't be doing this alone. Louis, your internship supervisor, will be right there with you!

Objectives

• Keep the content calendar sharp and up to date together with the Editorial Lead.
• Support the content team with ideation, creation, and coordination across all owned channels.
• Write and edit copy for social, newsletters, and the website. Clean, clear, creative, and on brand.
• Help us tell stories that engage and resonate with younger audiences without slipping into generic Gen Z marketing.
• Pitch ideas and dig into competitor research.

Is this you?

• You are currently enrolled in a European school and following an HBO or university course in either marketing, communications, or something in the humanities.
• You are available for a minimum of 5 months, for 32 up to 40 hours per week as from February 1, 2027.
• You enjoy writing, thinking, and being creative.
• You're online enough to get culture, critical enough to have a POV on it.
• You can make complex, impact-driven topics feel simple and worth reading.
• You take initiative without waiting to be told what comes next.
• Your written English is excellent. Dutch and/or German is a bonus.
• You have basic knowledge of Canva. Hubspot is a bonus.
