Job summary

MSD Animal Health Nederland in Boxmeer invites an intern for Master Statistics/Bioinformatics. You will analyze datasets, contribute to study design, and report findings under supervision. You’ll work with SAS/R/Python and deliver insights for preclinical studies in a global vaccine environment.

The internship lasts 6 months, with a 4–5 day workweek, and a monthly gross allowance of €500. Hybrid work arrangement and strong mentorship are offered to develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics or related field (Bachelor acceptable in some cases).
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodology.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python for data analysis.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in biological or epidemiological research is a plus.
• Available for 6 months, 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets for projects supporting R&D and registration goals.
• Contribute to study design ideas and data collection efforts.
• Data cleaning, analysis, and reporting of (pre-)clinical studies.
• Prepare reports and presentations of statistical analyses.
• Collaborate with researchers and attend team meetings.
