We are looking for an Intercompany Accountant to provide operational support to the Global Intercompany Accounting Team. This role will support key intercompany accounting activities across multiple legal entities and regions and will play an important role in ensuring an accurate and timely month-end close.

The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation, strong attention to detail, and experience working with intercompany transactions in a multi-entity environment. This individual should be comfortable working with large volumes of data, investigating accounting differences, following established processes and controls, and collaborating with the broader Intercompany Accounting team to resolve issues.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and resourceful, with the ability to work independently, investigate issues before escalating them, and effectively manage recurring accounting responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Support the monthly intercompany close process for assigned entities and regions, ensuring activities are completed accurately and within established close timelines.
- Prepare intercompany journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reports, and supporting schedules in accordance with established accounting processes and policies.
- Perform intercompany account analysis and investigate balance differences, aging items, and other reconciling items, coordinating with the appropriate teams to drive resolution.
- Support FX analysis and clearing activities related to intercompany transactions, settlements, payments, and collections on behalf.
- Support monthly intercompany balance confirmation, netting, and settlement activities across multiple legal entities.
- Review intercompany transactions and automated accounting entries generated by various systems, investigate exceptions, and support the resolution of accounting or elimination differences.
- Support the maintenance of intercompany relationships and accounting configurations within the applicable intercompany systems.
- Assist with transfer pricing-related accounting activities and calculations in accordance with established methodologies and guidance from the Intercompany Accounting team.
- Prepare supporting documentation and maintain appropriate evidence for assigned internal controls, reconciliations, and other accounting activities.
- Support operational activities resulting from new entity setups, M&A integrations, restructurings, or other changes impacting intercompany accounting, as directed by the Intercompany Accounting team.
- Proactively investigate accounting issues using available data, systems, documentation, and established procedures, escalating complex matters with clear supporting information when needed.
- Support process improvement, automation, AI, and system-related initiatives by providing operational input, performing testing, and assisting with implementation activities as needed.
- Collaborate with members of the Global Intercompany Accounting Team and other Finance teams to ensure timely resolution of intercompany accounting matters.
What the Candidate Will Need
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to intercompany accounting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, or a multi-entity accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, foreign currency (FX), and month-end close processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate accounting differences and identify potential causes and solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial data.
- Ability to work independently, follow established processes and controls, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and consistently met close deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to clearly communicate issues, findings, and status updates to the Intercompany Accounting team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
Bonus Points
- Previous experience with intercompany accounting, transfer pricing-related accounting, netting, settlements, or intercompany reconciliations.
- Experience with Oracle ERP environments, including Oracle Fusion.
- Experience with FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close) or similar consolidation platforms.
- Experience working in a global accounting environment with multiple currencies and legal entities.
- Experience supporting system implementations, migrations, UAT/testing, or accounting automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with SQL, AI-enabled tools, or other technologies used to analyze financial data and improve accounting processes.
