Job summary

Workstead is seeking an Inhouse Intercedent to serve as the essential link between our client and Polish temporary workers. Based at the client site in Lopik, you will guide workers, explain employment terms, and ensure smooth operations by coordinating recruitment, site tours, and daily logistics.

You will resolve issues on the shop floor or with accommodation, monitor absenteeism and leaves, and maintain clear communication with clients and temps.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing industry or related services.
• Good command of Polish and English for client and worker communication.

• Tactful communication and relationship-building with clients and temps.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and selection of new temporary workers.
• Conduct site visits and acquaint workers with their assigned workplaces.
• Explain terms of employment and arrange contracts; answer related questions.

As an Inhouse Intercedent at Workstead, you are the essential link between our client and our Polish temporary workers. Based at the client’s location, you are their first point of contact and provide guidance and a personal approach to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved. Here’s what makes you the ideal candidate:

• Experience in the staffing industry:You already have experience in the staffing industry, so you will quickly find your way in this dynamic environment. Experience in the meat industry is an added bonus, as it provides insight into the specific challenges and requirements of clients within this sector.
• Customer focus and independence:You like to work customer-oriented and have a keen eye for their needs. You can work independently and know how to take initiative where necessary, so that both clients and temporary workers can count on you.
• Strong communication skills:Your communication style is clear and convincing, with a good dose of empathy. You know how to steer conversations in a pleasant way and make sure everyone feels understood, even when dealing with difficult subjects or under pressure.
• Language skills:You have a good command of the Polish language, which is essential to put our Polish or Romanian temporary workers at ease. You also speak English, so you can communicate well with clients and colleagues.
• Driving license:You have a driving license, which gives you the flexibility to easily travel to clients and locations and accompany our temps where necessary.
• Based in the Lopik area:You live in the area, which means you can switch gears quickly and are always nearby to pick things up immediately.
