Job summary

Staffice zoekt een commerciële logistieke professional die als schakel functioneert tussen operationele logistiek en de commerciële afdeling in Hoofddorp. Je start met prijsaanvragen en offertes, en stroomlijnt vervolgens de communicatie met interne afdelingen en leveranciers.

Je bouwt aan relaties, bewaakt tarieven en signaleert marktontwikkelingen. Een proactieve, klantgerichte houding is vereist; starterskansen bestaan bij een stabiele internationale omgeving.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 2–3 jaar werkervaring in een operationele logistieke omgeving.
• Commercieel inzicht en een proactieve houding.
• Kennis van of ervaring met inside sales en prijsbepaling in freight forwarding.
• Vloeiend Engels; Nederlandse taal is een voordeel.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiden en opvolgen van commerciële offertes voor lucht- en zeevracht.
• Beheren en berekenen van prijsstructuren en tarieven.
• Cliënten adviseren over complete logistieke oplossingen.
• Coördineren met operationele afdelingen binnen de organisatie.
• Onderhouden van relaties met klanten en internationale leveranciers.
• Analyseren van marktontwikkelingen om concurrerende tarieven te bieden.
• Toezicht houden op het commerciële proces van offerte tot uitvoering.

Job description

In this role, you are the connecting link between operational logistics and the commercial department. You start your workday processing price inquiries for air and ocean freight and creating competitive quotes for clients. Next, you coordinate with operational departments to align the most efficient logistics solutions. Throughout the day, you maintain frequent contact with clients and suppliers to optimize commercial opportunities.

Tasks

• Preparing and following up on commercial quotes for air and ocean freight
• Managing and calculating pricing structures and rates
• Advising clients on complete logistics solutions
• Coordinating with operational departments within the company
• Maintaining relationships with clients and international suppliers
• Analyzing market developments to offer competitive rates
• Monitoring the commercial process from initial inquiry to final execution

We are looking for

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in an operational logistics environment
• Demonstrable commercial mindset and a proactive approach
• Knowledge of or experience with inside sales and pricing in freight forwarding
• Fluent command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is a advantage
• Availability to start in October
