Job summary

Sales Support Specialist bij van nes + plaisier personeelsdiensten werkt 32–40 uur per week en ondersteunt het salesteam bij het verwerven van nieuwe klanten en het ontwikkelen van kansen. Je verwerkt leads, CRM-entries en plant klantbezoeken voor accountmanagers.

Je beheert klantgegevens, contracten en tariefinformatie, bereidt transportoffertes voor en volgt verkoopprocessen op. Werkt in een internationale omgeving vanuit Rotterdam met een informele cultuur en ruimte voor initiatief.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met operationele processen binnen freight forwarding.
• Sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden.
• Klantgericht en in staat efficiënte oplossingen te vinden.
• Professionele telefoonvaardigheden.
• Engels in spreken en schrijven; Nederlands is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Ondersteunen van het salesteam bij acquisitie van nieuwe klanten en ontwikkeling van commerciële kansen.
• Kwalificeren en verwerken van sales leads, CRM-entries aanmaken en klantafspraken plannen.
• Beheren van klantgegevens, contracten en tarieven en zorgen voor up-to-date informatie.
• Behandelen van offerteaanvragen, transporttarieven opvragen en offertes voorbereiden.
• Ondersteunen van tenders en klantactiviteiten en samenwerken met collega’s door de organisatie.

Join the team as a Sales Support Specialist for 32-40 hours per week and earn up to €4,000 gross per month based on 40 hours! Functieomschrijving

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will support the sales team in acquiring new customers and developing existing commercial opportunities. You will qualify and process sales leads, add new organizations to the CRM system and schedule customer visits for the sales representatives. You will also ensure proper follow-up of these contacts and record the results of the sales process.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing customer data, contracts and rates. You will ensure that customer information in the various operational systems is kept up to date and that rates are correctly processed and maintained.

An important part of your role is handling quotation requests for new business. You will identify the customer's requirements and delivery conditions, request transportation rates for pre- and on-carriage, and prepare a suitable transportation quotation. You will then monitor the follow-up of the quotations.

Finally, you will support local tenders, promotional activities and customer events. You will work closely with the sales team and various colleagues across the organization.

Functie-eisen

• You have at least 2 years of experience with operational processes within freight forwarding;
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• You speak and write English well; Dutch is a plus.
