Job summary

Delta Electronics EMEA is seeking a commercially driven Inside Sales Intern to support its Industrial Automation business across Europe, based in Helmond, Netherlands. You will manage customer inquiries, develop sales opportunities, prepare quotations, and support the conversion of opportunities into orders.

Working with regional sales managers and distributors, you will strengthen customer relationships, drive pipeline, and expand Delta's market presence within Europe.

Qualifications

• A degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in business, sales, electrical engineering, industrial automation, mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Experience in industrial automation or related technologies preferred.
• Understanding of OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office.
• Strong commercial awareness including pricing, gross margins, quotation management, and sales conversion.
• Professional proficiency in English, and in either French or German are required.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver revenue growth and pipeline targets.
• Proactively engage distributors and customers to identify, develop and convert sales opportunities.
• Prepare and manage competitive quotations and commercial proposals; track hit rates.
• Maintain accurate opportunities, quotations and customer data in CRM; provide regular reporting.
