Job summary

Xylem in Dordrecht is expanding its Inside Sales team. We seek an Inside Sales Engineer who can assess inspection data, determine parts and repair needs, and create technically correct, commercially attractive proposals.

You will work closely with Service, Field Service and Account Management to deliver timely quotes for repairs, restwork and spare parts. The role combines technical insight with commercial drive to support customers quickly and professionally when maintenance or parts are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (technical or commercial).
• Experience in a technical service environment or quick learner.
• Accurate with bill of materials, part lists and technical reports.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Strong communication, customer orientation and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restwork quotations following service inspections.
• Prepare repair and overhaul proposals and quotations for spare parts.
• Coordinate with Service Department, Field Service and Account Managers.
• Document all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system.

For our service and spare parts activities, we are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer who can expertly advise customers and provide accurate, timely quotations for repairs, restwork, and spare parts. At Xylem, we offer you the opportunity to develop yourself in the world of water technology.**What will you do?**A customer contacts us with the question: “Can you prepare an offer for the required parts and repair of my installation?” You immediately recognize a need for spare parts, repair proposals or restwork.You analyze inspection reports from our Field Service Engineers, the technical condition of the product, or customer-provided information. Based on that, you create a complete, technically correct, and commercially attractive proposal. This may include part lists, wear components, repair hours, alternative components, and delivery times.**You prepare:**- Restwork quotations following service inspections- Repair and overhaul proposals- Quotations for spare partsWhile preparing your proposals, you coordinate closely with the Service Department, Field Service, and Account Managers. You also document all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system.In short: you combine technical insight with commercial drive to support customers quickly and professionally when their Xylem installation requires maintenance or parts.**Inside Sales Team**Our Dordrecht location has around 150 employees. The Inside Sales team consists of 15+ colleagues who jointly support the technical sales and service process. You work closely with our service department and are in daily contact with customers regarding repairs, spare parts, and restwork.We also make time for team spirit.
