Job summary

The Inside Sales Engineer at Xylem in Dordrecht focuses on advising customers and delivering accurate quotations for repairs, restwork and spare parts. You will analyze inspection data and customer information to prepare complete, technically sound and commercially attractive proposals.

Working with the Service Department, Field Service and Account Managers, you’ll ensure timely responses, documentation in the CRM, and ongoing support for our customers’ water technology installations.

Qualifications

• Preferably a completed bachelor’s degree (technical or commercial).
• Experience in a technical service environment or strong motivation to learn quickly.
• Accuracy in working with bill of materials, part lists, and technical reports.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and a results-driven mindset.
• Affinity with technology and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restwork quotations following service inspections.
• Create repair and overhaul proposals and quotations for spare parts.
• Coordinate with Service Department, Field Service, and Account Managers.
• Document all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system.
• Provide technically correct and commercially attractive proposals.
