Job summary

Arhs Group, part of Accenture, seeks an expert storage engineer to validate and implement architecture-designed solutions, primarily focusing on Dell PowerMax and PowerScale storage platforms within complex ICT environments.

You will lead migrations, capacity planning, DR concepts, and security controls while providing technical evaluations and documentation for production deployment and user training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise Dell PowerMax and Dell PowerScale storage engineering in complex ICT environments.
• 10+ years of experience with storage migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh activities including capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Deep knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax (SAN) and PowerScale (NAS) design, best practices, and capabilities.
• Strong understanding of data protection and compliance considerations in large-scale environments.
• Strong grasp of security controls and information assurance in enterprise ICT settings.

Responsibilities

• Validate and implement Architect-recommended solutions.
• Design, develop, test, document, release-control, and maintain infrastructure software components and services.
• Prototype infrastructure solutions and take technical responsibility for development projects.
• Provide technical studies, expertise and evaluations for information systems infrastructure.

Job Description

• Practically validate and implement the solutions recommended by the Architects
• Design, develop, test, document, release-control, maintain and provide technical support for infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications
• Carry out proof of concept and prototyping of infrastructure solutions
• Take technical responsibility for infrastructure development projects
• Provide assistance and support to software architects and information system developers
• Provide technical studies, technical expertise and technical evaluations relating to information systems infrastructure
• Produce technical documentation
• Assist with configuration of the system for production deployment and with training administrators and users
• Participate in meetings

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in enterprise Dell PowerMax and Dell PowerScale storage engineering, including designing, implementing and improving storage platforms in complex, multi-disciplinary ICT environments
• More than 10 years of experience with storage migrations, upgrades and technology refresh activities (including impact/risk assessment and transition planning); capacity planning, performance analysis and optimisation across SAN and NAS environments (including high availability, disaster recovery, replication and business continuity concepts); and performing technical evaluations, solution designs and strategic improvements, including engagement with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax (SAN) and Dell PowerScale (NAS), including design principles, best practices and platform capabilities
• Very good knowledge of data protection and compliance-related considerations, especially in sensitive enterprise environments
• Very good knowledge of security controls and information assurance techniques in large-scale ICT organisations

• Very good knowledge of automation and standardisation of storage-related tasks and configurations
