Job summary

Hunter International, Inc. is seeking an experienced storage infrastructure professional in The Hague area to lead migrations, upgrades, and refresh planning across SAN and NAS environments.

The role requires deep knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax and PowerScale, extensive capacity planning, and a track record in backup and archiving. You will work with Architects to validate solutions and drive implementation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of storage migrations, upgrades, and refresh planning.
• 10+ years capacity planning and performance analysis for SAN/NAS environments.
• Deep knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax SAN and Dell PowerScale NAS.
• 10+ years in enterprise data backup and archiving.
• Experience in automation and standardising storage tasks.
• Good knowledge of enterprise virtualization technologies.

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, releasing infrastructure software.
• Providing technical support and maintaining infrastructure services.

Job description

• More than 10 years of experience with storage migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh activities, including impact/risk assessment and transition planning ;
• More than 10 years of experience with capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimisation across SAN and NAS environments, including high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and business continuity concepts for storage services ;
• Very good knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax (SAN) and Dell PowerScale (NAS), including design principles, best practices, and platform capabilities .
• More than 10 years of experience with enterprise Data Backup and Archiving technologies ;
• Very good knowledge of automation and standardisation of storage-related tasks and configurations ;
• Good knowledge of enterprise virtualisation technologies .

Duties/role:

• Validating and implementing solutions recommended by the Architects ;
• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, controlling releases, maintaining, and providing technical support for infrastructure software components and services matching specifications ;
• Performing proof-of-concept activities and prototyping infrastructure solutions .
