Job summary

ESA in Noordwijk, Netherlands is seeking an Information Security and Accreditation Officer to join the Security Office (ESO) within the Directorate of Resources and Services. You will coordinate security activities for the RNC Information Security Office and ensure proper implementation of security directives.

The role involves risk analysis, security marking, incident response and ongoing awareness programs, reporting to the RNC-X Security Manager, and collaboration with the ESO Security

Qualifications

• Master’s in engineering required with 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Alternatively a bachelor’s degree plus 4 years relevant experience.
• Substantial security and system engineering experience.
• Strong background in cyber security, policy and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESO RNC Security Assurance Team under the RNC-X Security Manager.
• Lead independent security risk analyses for the Directorate’s activities.
• Support security accreditation objectives and milestones.
• Maintain security awareness and incident reporting processes.
• Collaborate with CIS Project/System Security Officers within the Directorate.
