Job summary

ESA is seeking an Information Security and Accreditation Officer for the Security Office at ESTEC in Noordwijk. You will report functionally to the RNC-X Security Manager and oversee security activities within the Directorate of Resilience, Navigation and Connectivity (RNC).

You will coordinate the ESO Security Assurance Team and ensure proper PL1/PL2 security implementation across the directorate. The role requires strong expertise in information security, risk analysis, and policy development,

Qualifications

• Substantial security and system engineering experience.
• Strong background in cyber security, policy and standards.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong judgement, communication skills and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESO RNC Security Assurance Team under the functional authority of the RNC-X Security Manager and in full coordination with ESO.
• Coordinate with the RNC ESO Security Assurance Team the Directorate’s independent security risk analysis, including analysis and risk from RNC space programmes and RNC security-critical activities.
• Support the establishment of RNC security assurance status and ensure PL1/PL2 security implementation.
• Assist the ESA Security Office on security incident investigation and support accreditation objectives.
