Job summary

IMEC in Eindhoven seeks an Information Security Officer to be the key security contact for the Dutch entity, translating strategy into practical policies and guiding risk-aware decision making.

You will collaborate with Belgium and NL teams, support ISO27001 and NIST compliance, and coordinate security across government and partner engagements while strengthening governance and security culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information security, risk management, compliance or security governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate security strategy into practical policies, processes and guidance for imec Netherlands.
• Act as the main security liaison between imec Netherlands, Corporate Security Office and external stakeholders.
• Monitor Dutch and European security legislation and translate requirements into concrete actions.
• Perform security risk assessments for applications, technologies, projects and business processes.
• Advise on risk mitigation, security controls and exception management.
• Support compliance with ISO 27001, TISAX, NIST and other standards.
• Coordinate security compliance for government-funded, defence and other security-sensitive projects.
• Act as Security Officer for imec Netherlands and coordinate personnel security clearance processes.
