Job summary

AXIS Career is seeking an industrial painter to join our metalworking department. You will prepare, treat, and finish metal surfaces using advanced equipment while collaborating with a team of around 20 professionals to maintain smooth operations and deliver high-quality results.

The role requires an MBO level 2 diploma in a technical field, hands-on blasting experience, knowledge of schooperen, and flexibility for a 2-shift schedule. Experience with overhead cranes is advantageous.

Qualifications

• MBO level 2 diploma in a technical field.
• Experience with metal preservation and grit or corundum blasting.
• Knowledge of thermal spraying (schooperen) is a plus.
• Experience operating an overhead crane is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare: clean and ready metal surfaces for further treatment.
• Blast: operate the blasting line and work with grit-corundum to treat surfaces effectively.
• Apply: use schoopering techniques to protect products against rust and corrosion.
• Inspect: perform quality checks on treated products to ensure they meet our standards.
• Collaborate: contribute to a seamless workflow within a supportive and skilled team.
