Job summary

Start People is seeking an industrial painter for our Nijmegen region metalworking team. You will prepare, treat, and finish metal surfaces to meet high-quality standards, using advanced equipment and grit-corundum blasting.

You’ll join a collaborative team of about 20 professionals focused on reliable, safe workmanship. The role offers a permanent contract, 40 hours per week, and a gross monthly salary between €3,600 and €3,800 with shift allowance.

Qualifications

• MBO level 2 diploma in a technical field.
• Experience with metal preservation and grit or corundum blasting.
• Knowledge of thermal spraying (schooperen) is a plus.
• Experience operating an overhead crane is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare: clean and ready metal surfaces for further treatment.
• Blast: operate the blasting line and work with grit-corundum to treat surfaces effectively.
• Apply: use schoopering techniques to protect products against rust and corrosion.
• Inspect: perform quality checks on treated products to ensure they meet our standards.
• Collaborate: contribute to a seamless workflow within a supportive and skilled team.
