Job summary

M.W. Watermark is seeking a Painter to assist the Paint WC Lead in all aspects of industrial painting within our factory environment. You will prepare surfaces, stage materials, and help ensure timely, high-quality finishes on water treatment equipment.

The role requires 1+ years in industrial painting, basic literacy/arithmetic, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will operate standard shop equipment and contribute to a clean, safe workspace with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in an industrial painting environment.
• Must have basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work under the Paint WC Lead to complete required duties.
• Prep materials for paint by grinding, sanding, degreasing, seam sealing, etc.
• Stage materials for paint before and after painting.
• Assist with sand blast coordination as needed.
• Fill in as backup for the Paint WC Lead when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Promote continuous improvement within the team.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and man-lifts as trained.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
