Job summary

Delta Electronics EMEA is seeking a Solution Architect to design and develop integrated electro‑mechanical solutions for industrial automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing in Helmond, Netherlands. You will drive system integration across hardware, firmware and software, selecting sensors, actuators, motors, PLCs and embedded controllers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics or electro‑mechanical system design.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect integrated electro‑mechanical systems, combining hardware, firmware and software.
• Develop system‑level solutions for automation, robotics and smart industrial equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration and successful project delivery.
• Select and integrate key system components, including sensors, actuators, motors, PLCs and embedded controllers.
• Define system architecture, technical specifications and documentation while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC/UL/CE standards.
• Implement and optimize Industrial IoT and cloud‑based solutions for monitoring and predictive maintenance.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept developments, optimize system performance through testing and validation, and drive Industry 4.0 innovations.
