Job summary
HID Global’s IAI Industrial Systems unit in Veldhoven, Netherlands is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to design, implement and validate mechatronic subsystems with emphasis on electrical design, motion control and PLC-based machine control. You will translate specifications into robust control concepts and document electrical systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in machine building or mechatronic systems.
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R).
- Experience with motion control systems.
Responsibilities
- Translating specifications into functional designs and control concepts (PLC, motion, safety).
- Designing and documenting electrical systems including schematics and I/O structures.
- Developing, testing and maintaining PLC-based control software.
- Implementing and optimizing motion control solutions.
- Testing and validating systems against functional and safety requirements.
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues and machine failures.
