Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma required; Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years’ industrial inside sales/customer service experience managing external client accounts or safety equipment/services purchasing in industrial safety/environmental industry.
• 2+ years outside sales in industrial sector preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Two+ years ERP experience; NAVISION knowledge a plus.
• Inside Sales/Customer Service experience in the safety industry preferred.
• Experience selling mill supply/metal tools preferred.
• Strong computer and spreadsheet skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little direction.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of company products and services.
• Maintain data integrity by accurately tracking customer interactions.
• Direct interaction with customers as first point of contact.
• Reach out to prospects and convert into customers.
• Answer incoming phone calls and process quotes and orders promptly.
• Expedite open sales orders and coordinate internal/external communication.
