Job summary
Prodrive Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join the PMS team. You ensure availability, reliability and performance of internal production equipment, including automated systems.
You troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analyses and work hands-on with mechanical, electrical and software issues to sustain production. You will drive improvements to increase uptime, document findings, and support cross‑functional teams on reliability projects in a dynamic, international
Qualifications
- MBO 3/4 or HBO in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Affinity with mechanics, electronics and basic software troubleshooting.
- Experience with structured problem‑solving methods.
- Willing to work in a two‑shift system.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues at component and system level.
- Carry out corrective repairs and verify operational readiness.
- Document findings in maintenance logs and RCA reports.
- Conduct root‑cause analyses using 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on improvements.
