AI & Marketing Transformation Intern – embedded in a high‑impact team at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. Supports real client engagements, helps build AI‑powered solutions, and shapes how some of the world’s biggest brands adopt AI in their marketing.
Responsibilities
AI Agent Development Support
- Assist in the design, testing, and iteration of custom AI expert agents for enterprise marketing clients.
- Help build and refine AI‑powered workflows using WPP Open and adjacent tooling, working alongside senior team members.
- Research and experiment with AI tools, techniques, and frameworks (such as prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation, and API integrations) to support solution development.
- Document agent performance, capture learnings, and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Workshops & Client Engagement
- Support the preparation and delivery of AI Discovery Workshops and transformation sessions for senior marketing leaders.
- Help develop workshop materials, including diagnostic frameworks, interactive exercises, and output templates.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, with the opportunity to present specific sections or findings as confidence grows.
- Support the delivery of internal training and enablement sessions on AI tools and ways of working.
Go‑to‑Market & Research
- Help develop pitch decks, case studies, proposals, and other sales collateral for new business development.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to keep AI propositions sharp and well‑positioned.
- Contribute to the packaging and refinement of InDomo’s AI service offerings.
Platform & Innovation
- Become proficient in WPP Open, exploring new features and capabilities and sharing findings with the team.
- Stay on top of the rapidly evolving AI and marketing technology landscape, surfacing relevant tools, trends, and opportunities.
- Bring fresh thinking. Value the perspective of someone close to the latest academic research and emerging ideas.
About You
Must‑Haves
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Strategy, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Genuine, demonstrable interest in AI and its application to marketing or business. Explored AI tools beyond the basics.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Can break down complex topics and communicate clearly.
- Confident communicator comfortable presenting ideas to a room, whether in team meetings or client sessions.
- Excellent written and visual communication. Can structure a compelling deck or write a clear, persuasive brief.
- Self‑starter mentality. Takes initiative and works independently when needed.
- Available for a full‑time, 6‑month internship based in Amsterdam.
Strong Pluses
- Hands‑on experience with AI tools in an academic or personal project context (e.g., building chatbots, experimenting with LLMs, using AI coding assistants, or working with APIs).
- Familiarity with concepts like prompt engineering, large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, or agent architectures.
- Previous internship or work experience in marketing, consulting, or a technology‑related field.
- Experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM systems, marketing automation tools, or analytics platforms).
- Familiarity with Dutch and/or international market dynamics.
