Job summary

Dorel Juvenile, a global leader in juvenile products, is seeking an Indirect Buyer to optimize HR, Sales and Marketing spend across Europe. You will build international supplier panels, run tenders, negotiate with agencies and platforms, and drive supplier consolidation while ensuring compliant, cost‑effective terms.

You will partner with HR and Marketing stakeholders, manage KPIs and contracts, and reduce spend fragmentation in a dynamic multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in services procurement, supporting internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, and IT (e.g. agencies, software, tooling, consultants).
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international, and cross‑functional environment, partnering closely with business teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Hands‑on and well‑organized, with a proactive mindset and a willingness to take ownership while continuously developing procurement expertise.
• Commercially minded, curious about digital services, with interest in areas such as digital marketing, IT, agencies, or the influencer ecosystem seen as a strong plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Challenge needs and bring a cost & value perspective
• Ensure clear communication and alignment between local teams and procurement
• Manage supplier performance (KPIs, regular reviews)
• Ensure solid contracts (pricing, scope, compliance, data/privacy)
• Reduce risks linked to fragmented and fast-moving spend
• Improve visibility on HR, Sales and Marketing spend
• Support use of procurement tools and processes
• Reduce maverick spend while keeping flexibility

Your mission

As an Indirect Buyer, you will drive and optimize HR, Sales and Marketing related spend, including HR services, social media influencer partnerships, multimedia studios, and digital marketing, within an international environment. You will actively contribute within a cross European organization by strengthening communication and alignment across teams, structuring and executing robust supplier strategies, enhancing spend control, and partnering closely with HR and Marketing stakeholders to directly support business performance.

Your profile

Please note that this vacancy is for a locally hired position. As such, we have a strong preference for candidates already based in the Netherlands. In return for your passion and contribution, we offer:

• A salary up to €4200 gross per month, based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
• This is a position for 32-40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
• You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
• You are eligible for a 13-month every year.
• The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days in Helmond.
• The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
• Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
