Job summary

Marktlink seeks an experienced M&A Associate to take significant responsibility in the transaction process for SME deals. You will work independently from day one, performing analyses, valuations and market outreach while building relationships with buyers, sellers and financiers.

You bring 3–5 years’ M&A experience, a Finance Master’s, strong financial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, complemented by excellent Dutch and English communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance or finance-oriented Master’s
• 3–5 years’ work experience as M&A analyst/associate/consultant
• Strong analytical, commercial and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Dutch and good command of English

Responsibilities

• Performing company and market analyses
• Preparing valuations and bid books
• Meeting potential buyers and sellers
• Approaching new buyers and sellers
• Expanding and maintaining the Marktlink network
• Preparing financing applications and solving financing issues
• Providing broad support to the manager during projects
