Job summary
Tong Ah in Weesp is seeking an Independent Chef I to join our kitchen team. You will prepare dishes, supervise assistants, and maintain a clean, efficient work area in a busy Chinese-Indonesian kitchen.
Daytime and evening shifts are possible, with full-time 38 hours per week and a gross monthly salary between €2,750 and €3,250. We offer training, free accommodation, relocation assistance, and opportunities to grow in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Independent initiative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to take responsibility in a fast-paced kitchen.
- MBO-3 level education or equivalent required.
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
Responsibilities
- Select and prepare ingredients and assist in dish production.
- Conduct intermediate checks for doneness, taste, and color, adjusting as needed.
- Maintain consistent quality and hygiene standards.
- Supervise kitchen assistants and correct work when necessary.
- Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and check deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work area and equipment.
- Report and resolve minor technical faults.
- Contribute to menu adjustments and kitchen processes.
