Job summary

Yangguofu Eindhoven B.V. is seeking an Independent Chef I to strengthen the kitchen team in Eindhoven. You will assist in preparing dishes and collaborate with the kitchen staff, working both independently and as part of a team.

You are responsible for a clean, organized kitchen and must handle daily stock, ordering, and menu input. The role offers a full-time schedule (38 hours per week) with a gross salary of €2,750 to €3,250.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates independent initiative and solution orientation.
• Acts with conviction and takes responsibility for outcomes.
• MBO-3 work and thinking level required.
• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and preparing dishes (washing, cutting, mixing).
• Conducting intermediate checks for doneness, taste, color, and adjustments.
• Ensure consistent quality and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Supervise kitchen assistants and correct staff when needed.
• Track stock levels, order ingredients, and check deliveries.
• Daily cleaning of work environment, equipment, and stations.
• Report and resolve minor faults and issues.
• Contribute to menu composition and methods.
