Job summary
Van Oord in Rotterdam is seeking an Incident Analyst within the QHSE team to review incidents, observations and unsafe conditions, support investigations and drive corrective actions. You will help translate data into actionable safety improvements and share lessons learned across projects.
You will maintain dashboards and KPI reports, analyze trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to reduce risks and enhance operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Three to seven years of experience in QHSE, safety, risk management, marine, offshore, industrial, construction or energy environments.
- Experience with QHSE reporting systems, databases and incident management software.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Office 365.
- You have good command of the Dutch and English language.
Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining the incident reporting and investigation system.
- Reviewing incident reports for completeness, quality and consistency and ensuring correct classification.
- Monitoring investigations and following up on overdue corrective actions.
- Analyzing incident and HSE performance data to identify trends, recurring issues and emerging risks.
- Maintaining dashboards, KPI reports and monthly, quarterly and annual QHSE performance reports and providing recommendations based on your findings.
