Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Project HSE Coordinator to safeguard health, safety and the environment across international projects. You will rotate through project locations worldwide, building relationships with teams, contractors and clients to embed safe practices on site.

You will be based in a role that values continuous learning, development and collaboration with the QHSE department to drive safety improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree, preferably with a focus on Health, Safety and Environment
• Strong interest in HSE; experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Professional proficiency in English
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Genuine drive to make a positive impact on safety

Responsibilities

• Constantly improve safety awareness and safety culture across projects
• Ensure safety policies, objectives, procedures and plans are effectively communicated and adhered by all project members and subcontractors
• Report on safety performance to management and address audit findings to prevent recurrence
• Maintain a strong communication and collaboration relationship with the supervisors, client, third parties and the QHSE department
• Managing the project HSE team could be a part of your role, depending on experience, we encourage our employees to continue to develop and learn
