Job summary

Corbion seeks a commercially minded Legal Counsel EMEA & APAC to provide pragmatic and high-quality legal advice across two regions. You will support commercial teams and other functions, draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, and collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Sales, IP, Compliance, Finance and Operations.

You will work from Amsterdam and Gorinchem with hybrid flexibility. The role requires 3+ years post-graduate experience, fluency in English, and a strong understanding of

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years post-graduate legal experience, preferably in private practice or in-house.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Dutch law.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience in an international manufacturing, ingredients, chemicals, food, life sciences or product-based environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted legal business partner to teams across EMEA and APAC, providing practical and commercially relevant advice.
• Advise sales, procurement, operations and R&D teams.
• Identify legal risks and provide clear, practical advice within Corbion's policies and processes.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (sales, distribution, agency, procurement, services, R&D, MTAs, NDAs).
• Develop understanding of Corbion’s businesses and stakeholders to reflect legal and commercial context.
