Job summary

Huisman in Schiedam is seeking a Mechanical Routing Engineer to design piping systems, cable routes, access and outfitting, including foundations for hydraulic or electrical components. The role is multidisciplinary and offers opportunities to contribute to exciting renewable projects with in-house design and production of turnkey products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBO Level 4 technicus engineering.
• Experience in offshore/maritime sector preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design with Autodesk tools.

Responsibilities

• Design piping systems, cable routes, access and outfitting and foundations.
• Define design priorities within layout and routing phase.
• Determine level of detail based on project requirements.
• Provide system-wide impact analysis and cost-effective designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals.
