Brivo, Inc. is seeking an IAM Python Developer to advance our identity ecosystem with Python and Java. You will work within the Engineering - Video team to design secure, scalable IAM solutions, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery.

You will implement Auth0 and other IDaaS platforms, manage identity lifecycle, and align with data protection standards in a cloud-native, API-first environment. This role is based onsite in Amsterdam with a global impact.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full‑stack development with Python and Java.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude) to boost velocity and code quality.
• Deep expertise in Auth0 ecosystems, cloud-native IAM, and API-first design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack IAM solutions using Python and Java.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging for rapid delivery.
• Maintain and scale identity architecture with Auth0 as the primary auth platform.
• Implement IDaaS solutions like Auth0, Okta, Microsoft, OneLogin, FusionAuth, and Ping.
• Oversee identity lifecycle management, including provisioning and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive full-stack IAM solutions by utilizing the combined power of Python and Java.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging workflows, ensuring rapid delivery of high-quality features.
• Maintain and scale our core identity architecture with Auth0 as the primary platform for authentication and authorization.
• Implement IDaaS solutions like Auth0, Okta, Microsoft, OneLogin, FusionAuth, and Ping.
• Oversee identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning and role-based access control.
• Ensure encryption and data protection standards are met, aligning with global regulations.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to refine identity solutions that cater to business needs.
• Troubleshoot and solve identity-related issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and cooperation.
• Participate actively in an Agile development environment, including sprint planning and stand-ups.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack development, with deep proficiency in both Python and Java.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Forward-thinking approach to development, with a documented track record of leveraging AI-assisted coding tools like Claude to significantly boost engineering velocity and code quality.
• Deep technical expertise in architecting and managing Auth0 ecosystems, focusing on cloud-native IAM architecture and API-first design principles.
• Advanced understanding of the modern identity lifecycle, implementing secure-by-design practices to safeguard user data and streamline access management.
• Solid foundation in modern cryptography and data protection standards, ensuring all solutions are resilient against evolving security threats.
