Job summary

Elsevier in Amsterdam is seeking a Product Manager II to own IAM features, drive discovery, specs and delivery. You will represent the voice of the customer, using insights and data to shape solutions that balance access with security and compliance.

You will partner with engineering, design, data, sales and customer success to execute the roadmap and ensure smooth day-to-day functionality, with a focus on measurable business impact and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Proven Product Management experience, typically with 4-6 years in a product-focused role.
• Experience owning products, features, or significant areas of product functionality.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to identify and solve customer problems.
• Demonstrated success delivering product improvements with measurable business impact.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of product strategy and business objectives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical or business-related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own discovery and specs for IAM product features through the lifecycle.
• Define roadmap and translate priorities into a development plan.
• Gather customer insights and translate into product requirements.
• Use data and market analysis to drive product decisions.
